Water for the house comes from a wellhead located about 150 from the garage on the left side of the driveway. A pump located 235 below ground pumps water up into a pair of holding tanks midway back on the east side of the driveway. From there, a pair of multistage pumps pressurize the water to 60-80 psi into 4 pressure holding tanks in a shed just south of the tanks. From there it is fed to the fire sprinkler system at full pressure and into the house through a pressure regulator set at about 50 psi.
Irrigation water comes directly from the regulator. But, the house water passes first through a sediment filter and water softener located in the north-east corner of the garage.
Drinking water is available from dedicated taps in most of the bathrooms, kitchen, bar, fridge and the coffee station. This water is filtered by a Reverse-Osmosis (RO) system that is located in the equipment room at the bottom of the stairs. Filtered water is stored in a pressure storage tank before it is passed through a UV filter and distributed through dedicated poly-ethylene lines to each of the different taps.
