In Case of any real Emergency, call 9-1

Be sure to give them the house address since, if you are using your cell phone, it may not accurately report your location. (Sorry, I can't put it here since this is on the internet).

We are a long way from services. Mid-Valley Fire Department is at the junction with Carmel Valley Road, but sheriff and ambulance come from much farther away. Keep in mind that we have only one way out to Carmel Valley Road, so do not wait if fire threatens.

The closest medical facility is CHOMP (Community Hospital of Monterey Peninsula) located on Hwy 68 west of Hwy 1 at the top of the hill north from Carmel Valley Road.
