Overview of the house

StrataVista is a 5 bedroom 4+3 half bath house on 2 floors with garage and entry on the top floor.

Master Suite

The master suite is upstairs on the west side of the house. It is equipped with a king size bed built by our good friend, Kent. There is also a deck off the master suite. The room has a fireplace, Sonos audio and a TV.

The attached bathroom has 2 walk-in closets, wet/dry sauna, tub, shower and a water closet with toilet and bidet and radiant heat floor. There is a door to outside and another small deck that has been caged in to allow cats to go outside without escaping.

Bedroom #2

Bedroom #2 is upstairs, straight south off the kitchen to the west. It has a queen bed, closet, bookshelf and a rolltop desk, in case you need to pay bills while visiting. It shares bathroom #3 located between it and Bedroom #3. There is also a door to outside for private entry or emergency/fire escape.

Bathroom #3

Bathroom #3 has a towel closet, twin sinks, toilet, tub/shower and radiant heat floor. It is shared between the two adjacent bedrooms, #2 & #3.

Bedroom #3

Bedroom #3 is in the south east corner upstairs. It has a queen bed, closet, desk and armoire. There is a door to outside for private entry or emergency/fire escape.

Bedroom #4

Bedroom #4 is downstairs on the right/south. It has both a queen bed and twin bunk beds. It also has a walk-in closet and attached Bathroom #4 with toilet, twin sinks, tub/shower and radiant floor heat. The bedroom is also equipped with Sonos audio connected to ceiling speakers.

Bedroom #5

Bedroom #5 is downstairs on the left/north. It has both a queen bed and twin bunk beds. It also has a walk-in closet and attached Bathroom #5 with toilet, twin sinks, shower with rainfall head and radiant floor heat. The bedroom is also equipped with Sonos audio connected to ceiling speakers.

The Property

The house sits on a nearly 15 acre parcel, but much of that land is the very steep hillside below that is full of poison oak. Most of the usable portion is inside the fence-line, making it pretty safe for dogs to be off-leash (during the day), but need to check the gates are all closed (and currently, the car-gate is disabled/open).

The house has its own well with the well head located about 100 feet down the driveway on the left/east side. 2 tanks are between there and the house with additional pumps to pressurize the water for the house.

The house is on a septic system. The lower rooms flow into a holding tank to the east of the lower patio. From there it is pumped up into the main tank behind/east of the garage. The leach field is a vertical kind under the center of the concrete paved parking area.

In addition to the outdoor spaces of the decks off the Master Bedroom and Dining Room, there are also 2 patios. At some point, there may be a hot-tub, in case you wonder about that other slab of concrete near the Lower Patio.

Lower Patio

The Lower Patio has 4 chairs, 2 settees, a couple tables and a fire-pit. There are Sonos connected speakers mounting above the doorway to the Media Room.

Front Patio

The Front Patio is off the Garage and Driveway. There is a large table, 2 small tables, 4 chairs and a settee. It is usually shady for hot afternoons or while kids are playing on the swings and slide.
